I have a dry cough.Sometimes theres phlegm.Usually in the morning,i will cough out a lot of mucus.I just had a kind of asthma last week that cause wheezing and shortness of breath.It also started with a dry cough.Now,when i cough.Theres a vibrate on my windpipe.Why is that?

@BlackShonghai mine is like yours too but in the morning mine is as painful as hell and completely dry have you found a better cure than doctor?

A doctor is a good place you might want to check out. If your doctor shrugs it off as the common cold and you literally had that chesty cough for several weeks or even months, go find a better doctor.

make him drink alot of luke warm water. By alot i mean atleast 4-5 liters. Just make sure when ever he drinks water, it should be warm. U can warm the water in the micro wave. hope it helps.
