Look at this ride's price tag: "$7.5 million" That's why it sucks, they put no money into it. Now compare that to the $300 million Radiator Springs Racers attraction that Disney is creating in Disney California Adventure's upcoming Carsland area. Even DIsney's modest Little Mermaid Omnimover-based dark ride attraction is cresting over the $100 million mark. I don't mean to sound like a Disney lover on here, but the budget for these rides speak for themselves, alone.

Actually, it's not bad at all. Did they make a mistake comparing it to El Toro and such? Yes. It's not a thrill ride. However, is it fun? Yes, if you're not looking for a hard-core coaster. There were parts that really startled me. There was one part that actually really scared me, both times I went on. The scenery, the effects, the unexpected movements? They work well. Go in with an open mind, and it won't be disappointing.

Went on it two days ago at Six Flags Great America---my reaction:

"That's IT?!?An indoor wild-mouse ride with some lighting and sound effects?!?"

In my opinion,the DC Superheroes are being wasted on an amusement organization that can't come up with anything more creative than rollercoasters---look what Universal's Islands Of Adventure did with Spiderman.

@ctdsnark Well, when you want to give a smaller company like sixflags 30-50 million dollar to invest on a ride like spiderman, Im sure they'd be happy to place something like that in one of their parks just for you. Did you know that Universal PERSONALLY developed that ride technology? If it wasnt fo rthem, it would not exisit. The only other park to use such technology other than Universal is Busch Gardens... Two of the wealthiest theme Park chains ever... Also Disney's rides are all fail...

For those curious, at least at the Great America version, more things have been included to make it more visually appealing, which is the entire point of the ride.

Look up rides like Ragin' Cajun and Primeval Whirl here on YouTube and you'll see what the layout and ride is like. The only big exception is that the car doesn't turn in a circle like on RC and PW, it stays facing forward. In all honesty, this is a highly themed kiddie ride.
