Ok people, I don't know how many of you ever served in the military, but I served four years in the united states marine corps, abd went to war three different times. I will definately tell you that the missions of the four are very different and some do have it harder than others. For isntance when I was in Iraq the first time I slept for three hours a day for the first four months, while the majority of the airmen remained in rear areas known as fobs they are not the same as marines.
It doesnt matter what our pride or selfishness says, thay are all giving up the same thing and they all cover each other, some have it harder, but not branches, i would say MOS's have it harder or whatever situation they are placed in so dont go and tell me your better or deserve more cudos cuz im not going to give it to you for whinning.

Marines and navy are the same because the marines is technically not it's own branch, It's a part of the Navy. And Air Force was part of the army hence why they both say Hooah. As for navy seals saying "Hooyah" I don't know why they do.

@ladiezman247 Plus that'd require you to have to apply to a new MOS change, in which case it'll probably be denied. So you'll have to wait your ENTIRE term which nowadays should be about 8 years including active reserve and then IRR. So..you'd probably have to wait till your entire term is up and then reenlist as a different MOS. In which case when that happens you'll probably be like "Fuck that, I want to have a wife and kids now."

@icicledreams I was on a navy base for months. No member of the navy say Hooyah except for navy seals. In fact the reason why the Marines say Hoorah is because of the navy. The marines isn't it's own branch. It's a sector of the US Navy. They both say Hoorah

@EvilHasEscaped You're an idiot. The marines are their own branch, though they do trace their roots back to the navy and have retained many traditions. In the end they are a separate branch of the US military.

Dunno why I said the Marines isn't it's own branch, it is BUT it is still a department of the navy. Not acting independantly as it's own like the army or airforce. And Drudy90 do some research before calling someone an idiot.

@ladiezman247 I know what 11b is. And if you're national guard infantry you probably haven't even been deployed yet. So whether you're 11B or not it wouldn't reflect on if you know the saying is "Hooah" or Hoorah" Which it is indeed Hooah. But you can always count on 11B to think they're the best even if they haven't seen real combat ;x I'm betting you're like 19 and just joined the army within the last year. I'm a 12W myself. And I'm being deployed again next year to Kandahar.

@ladiezman247 Plus that'd require you to have to apply to a new MOS change, in which case it'll probably be denied. So you'll have to wait your ENTIRE term which nowadays should be about 8 years including active reserve and then IRR. So..you'd probably have to wait till your entire term is up and then reenlist as a different MOS. In which case when that happens you'll probably be like "Fuck that, I want to have a wife and kids now."

I said I'd be in for 20 years, I'm going on my 3rd at the moment and I've met someone so I dunno if I'm going to do no 20 years now. But everyone says that about staying in for 20 years. Not many do.

haha army navy airforce all do stuff to help. i would love to see the army run into battle with out the airforce. and i would love to see the army fight along the sides of sea being attacked by ships with out the navy. no one is better then each other.

Actually, the marines would be second. The army is the oldest branch in the military and nothing is ever true about what they say. They never get there first and they're never the last off the battlefield either. And the airforce does less work than the Navy even does..So if anything it'd be Army, Marines, Navy, Chairforce.

This country is the most well defined, most powerful country in the world. Don't be jealous. We have our couragous troops over there trying to provide a country that we don't even know, with a chance to be free. How hard is it to realize that America is the good guy? When is the last time that any other country has come to America to help OUR problems? If we were having trouble and you came over here to help us, I would embrace you with open arms, brother.
