To be fair, he lives in australia. Dr. Who doesn't have alot of followers outside the UK. Here in America, I mention Dr. Who and no one knows what I'm talking about. There are really only two channels that show it, and neither one shows it often or is very popular compared to other channels. So it is possible he really doesn't know. Although I do think he could've been more couth about it.

You know what the funny part is? People act like they love it more than they ever did before, and yet in the UK at least, the episodes with the highest viewing figures are STILL from the old series, mostly when Tom Baker was the Doctor.

Personally I think the worst thing done to the show since RTD took over is simply the fact that they didn't officially number the last 3 seasons as "27", "28" and "29". That's more disrespectful to its past than any "populist" aspect....
