I worked at HBOS plc for 4 years and hated every second of it. The company had absolutely no ethical or moral standards, much like the people who worked there that were 'good at their job'.
The bank actively lured vulnerable people into cycles of debt to make as much profit as possible. Overdraft --> Credit Cards --> Loan --> Arrears Recovery --> Court Ruling..that's how they wanted it to play out, pay off debt by offering even more debt.
@sbowesuk precisely why I told Halifax where to stick their cashing in book fifteen years ago, and have always (when asked) told friends and family and anyone who'll listen to steer clear of the greedy SOBs...
Had a large grin on my face the day I thought they'd fold... I guess I need to get my vindictive streak under control.
Can you believe that people wanted to ban this ad? They were complaining that it was way too violent for children to be watching. Halifax replied that the children had probably just been watching "Tom and Jerry" before the ad came on, and that was just as violent, if not more so.
They shud make a film. It even sounds like a teaser trailer. Absolute legends. Better than that little fucker Tim Howard and that big fat hippo women singin nd dancin in the street like pussies hahaha
Brilliant ad!

For one of the truths about the many lies told about Germany.
Google:
The Liberation of the Camps: Facts vs. Lies by Theodore J. O' Keefe.
If you want the facts go to Institute for Historical Review (ihr.org) and click on their archives.
Germany has been lied to and lied about.
