  • Too much back and forth kicking, and not enough counter-kicking. Both fighters kick well, but seem to be too flat footed to effectively counter-kick. I would suggest spending extra time on reaction time, and throwing the proper kick to counter the attack. A good master never blocks or moves back, but kicks when his opponent kicks. I've been in the ring with one of the best, and sucks when he's fast enough to meet your offensive kick with a defensive one, and beat you to a point.

  • where is your guard??

    Do they punch in taewkondo?

I imagine you would have to adjust your style quite a bit in a real life situation.

  • @caseyjaystibbs in WTF style sparring (this video) punches dont score points. In ITF (tradtional) and UTI (seen on my page) hands can score points and are commonly used

  • @agentcade punches DO score points in WTF taekwondo. 1 point for a good punch to the body, however no punches to the face are allowed.

  • @FFMarca True, but the amount of force you need to put into a punch to get a point is ridiculous. It's more practical to just kick them.

  • thin boards are thinnnnnnnnn

  • Did you pass this grading exam?

  • The speed punch is really hard when you do it from a stationary stance... no advancing punch. Try it out! And the overhead front kick... more pump with the left leg and you'll get it on the first try. Awesome job!

  • Thanks!

  • lmao

  • Your Korea-fu is strong... those boards never had a chance.
