@baon2219 Sir, I will strongly agree with this "Jade" character. I have seen and spoke with many conservatives that are registered Democrats, and most registered Republicans would think they were on "their side". So in light of this, I've come to the conclusion that one mustn't look at American politics in a Republican v. Democrat perspective, but a conservative v. liberal perspective instead. It makes more sense and makes it easier to discern between the right candidate.

To side with one over the other is a reflection of one's own political beliefs (I am not going to bring religion into this). It would be easier to say we are all libertarians. @baon2219 The biggest social issue that these politicians are not focusing on more is one that concerns education. If you educate the children, you are investing in the prosperity of the country. Do not blind them to one side, but open them to all sides, and allow them to independently make their own decisions in all facades of their lives. I'm worried about that too - but he is the only one to vote for. I guess you know they are real when they wind up dead ( ex - JFK executive order 11110 - this would have allowed the government to create its own money instead of borrowing from illegal private federal reserve = Ron Paul - End the fed). Ron Paul's consistency is admirable, but his policy platform would be a disaster. He's a simple isolationist. If Ron Paul were president in 1941, would the US have fought WWII in Europe or would Paul have said: "Hitler didn't attack us? Why should we fight two wars?"
There probably would never have been any D-DAY, liberation of France, Netherlands, etc. Hitler may well have defeated Russia (without two fronts dividing his resources), and after consolidating his power there--Britain next.

XYZ...but, I'm unsure this simple blanket statement could be applied to ALL situations. To your point, the world has been shaped by US involvement in the past. However, for the future, I believe limited engagement, (if needed), should be the best/first option.
Everyone must do whatever it takes, talk to friends, go to your parents house, call your brother, visit your neighbor, in other words talk to people who TRUST you and get them to vote for Ron Paul. I love reading all the comments on here. It is good to know that there are avid supporters of Ron Paul. His views are simple and straightforward, yet most of Americas fail to understand that. I have seen and spoke with many conservatives that are registered Democrats, and most registered Republicans would think they were on "their side". So in light of this, I've come to the conclusion that one mustn't look at American politics in a Republican v. Democrat perspective, but a conservative v. liberal perspective instead. It makes more sense and makes it easier to discern between the right candidate.

Ron Paul's consistency is admirable, but his policy platform would be a disaster. He's a simple isolationist. If Ron Paul were president in 1941, would the US have fought WWII in Europe or would Paul have said: "Hitler didn't attack us? Why should we fight two wars?"
There probably would never have been any D-DAY, liberation of France, Netherlands, etc. Hitler may well have defeated Russia (without two fronts dividing his resources), and after consolidating his power there--Britain next.
