I just did this last night, died four times because I was too close and it insta killed me with its mash attack and one awesome time when it came right underneath me and flipped my mako and it could not correct itself in time =__=

they usually guard anomalys(i think thats how its spelled) so if you want what their guarding you need to kill them

Look for large open areas with little mounds of soil around. thats where they are usually.

i know you get more experience when you fight enemies without the Mako. it helps to get you to lvl 60 faster, is it possible to kill it on foot lol? or is it too big and too fast for you/

I don't think it's even possible to kill that thing on foot <_< if it is though, it'd take forever.

be an adept then do the quest were u get speciallization class. chose bastion and max it out till u get stasis specialization. then just keep freezing it and hammering it with whatever you can, with the right skill setup statis will become available again b4 its worn off from the 1st use so u can use it over and over until the thresher is dead

@NiGhtMariShPie it is possible to kill it on foot i just did it and it was real easy and i killed it faster than when i use the mako but I haven't tried it on insanity lol

i wish there were more of them when i first got mass effect i went around hunting the3 bastards.

first time i met one i was heading back to the mako after looking at some downed space probe. i hauled ass to the tank only to have the thing do its shockwave and send the mako flying so i shot the creep till t died with my rifle. (thank the makers they didn't put a ammo capacity on the game)

You can land on Xawin, there is a mission about a nearby ship that you need to scan to find, after you do that you can land there.

The first time I fought one the bastard surfaced under me and flipped me throwing us all free and then we just went and kicked his ass with ARs and shotguns. I got like, a billion XP
