I just think this song is about the fall of the Berlin Wall, not about the WW2 (or D-Day), even if they had something related. Anyway, this song tastes good. However, I still prefer the one from the studio album.

This version is a great one, but the meltdown concert has a choral arrangement that comes through a bit more prominently,and combined with Dave's guitar work, is really very haunting and stirring..but i like the ending of the studio cut,where the guitar does a really great sort of warbling fade out rather than ending it abruptly

thats footage from saving private ryan, isnt it? I used to have nightmares about the scene with the guy whose intestines got shot out crying for his mother... Great song, i love this version.... this is pulse right?

The original solo from the studio album sounds very different from this one, not to say that this one is bad or inferior, I actually like this sound. May I ask which album or compilation this particular song you used came from?
