President of Columbia University before he became President. We need MORE future politicians who want to be POTUS to have served in the military AND have seen war. They will be the ones not always so quick to send our boys in harms way.

Notice how Ike spoke, notice how he didn't talk down to us. This is how real leader speaks. One Eisenhower or Kennedy is better thatn ten thousands degenerate Bush Family spawn. I studied his presidency and the man a little. I might not agree with all his Ideas but it's clear Ike was a good man and that alone makes him far better than most modern American leaders. I'll bet Ike would would want to spit on what passes for conservatives today. He'd probably bitch slap Glenn Beck and Limbaugh.
