MyCervo was bored over to 600CC's and had a Weber 48IDA on it...we put the oil in the tank and jumped on the front bumper to mix it because after the bore-up the oil injection pump wouldn't keep the right mix. Great video, brings back some memories.

Yes, FWD 2 strokes are uncommon, DKW started it way back in the 30's or 40's with a two cylinder model (F-5) I think ?, then SAAB made 3 cylinder 2 strokes as well in the 60's as did Wartburg
Thanks! You see some temporary bubble wrap to keep the license plate from scuffing the paint. I'm still still working on the rear bumper. It was really mangled. Once the bumper is on I will be able to hang the plate in it's proper position.
Great to see these pieces of automotive history preserved and used but don't take it to California the eco freaks will have you arrested for the smoke.
