My understanding was that they were going to email that to us, but I have yet to see anything. I am waiting to hear back from one of the contest directors. I would suggest sending them an email and asking for yourself. There seems to be some confusion about this.

if you pause at 0:14, it shows the power of this little gem of a computer. It appears to be capable of displaying photo quality real time weather imagery in very high resolution with very fluid movement, in fact just moving the unit will update the display to reflect its new position. That really makes me Want One!

I have heard of people or wings being attacked by hawks, but that is rare. Sometimes they could just care less that you are there sharing the thermal with them. Sometimes they just go off and fly somewhere else. Sometimes they scream and flash their talons at you!

Well that is one drawback to pretty much any netbook. Small computer = small keyboard. However the Aspire One's keyboard is pretty big for netbook standards. It actually works pretty good.

Yeah the Aspire One is real light. 2.5 - 3 lbs depending on the battery. Mine has the 6 cell battery so its a bit heavier than the 3 cell, but gets double the battery life. The computer in this video has the 6 cell battery.

Not really, but it would help to be overall fit and strong. Hang gliders are pretty heavy (up to 80 lbs) and that can be kind of much to carry around, setup and break down all day.

Once in the air its really more an issue of stamina than strength.

Yeah, I filmed it in 1080p HD but the contest rules restricted the file size to 50 Mb. I wasn't able to get an HD version in under that file size. When the contest is over I will post the HD version.
