  • Beautiful car!!!!

  • show the taco :) anyone notice chrome bumpers?

  • @wertpollwert Much like the factory optioned sunroof, A/C, rear defrost, etc... on this car, so were the chrome bumpers that the original owner choose.

  • I never knew?

  • the most beautiful muscle car of all:)

  • MOST AUSSIES LOOK LIKE THIS... EXCEPT MORE TANNED

  • that must have lumpy cam, sounds tough. i got a xb sedan with gs option :)

  • @scar2783 damb that's what I figured I think there alittle too different for the conversion anyway, thanks for the info. Beautiful car by the way

  • Would it be possible to "clone" a falcon from a gran torino ? I know the rear sail panels and C pillar are different so do the aussies repop the sheetmetal an body panels for the falcons? Or are the parts as rare as the cars?

  • @DIMEBAGJIMMY426 There are a few companies the repo some sheet metal but not many. Might not even be offering anymore.

  • I want one so i can paint it black and put a main force patrol sticker on it,

  • sweet car!!

  • Very, very special car, -Easily the coolest pony / muscle car outside The U.S.

  • beatiful car, maybe one of the best falcons ever

  • Luv the rumble of a 351c !

  • That is a super looking car.

  • I sold my XB GS Coupe which was in fairly good nick about nine years ago for $2200 bucks, now they're worth about $20,000 for a piece of crap - worst decision I ever made! I also used to get upset when I heard about yanks taking our Falcons away from Australia, but I guess we've more than made up for it by importing thousands of classic Mustangs; hell, even I've got one now!

  • love the idle

  • I like this look more than the mustang

  • Does anyone know how many 1973 XB GT S were made or just XB models?

  • @cactuspete1973

Im not sure how many GT's were made, but in total there were 211971 XBs made

  • I wish I'd bought one of these in the early 80's when they were next to nothing in this condition. Everyone wanted the smallest engine possible - Corollas of the same year were 3 times the price of these. Can u believe it? :(

  • @Aussiemarco I whole-heartedly agree, I was to young to be around in the 80's, but nowadays the only old falcon I can afford is an average condition 500, who would honestly want a Corolla more than this! :D

  • @Bally92PhaseIV My first ever car was a 1963 XL, that I paid $450 for in 1982! The poor thing's engine died in 1984, and I traded it in for $400 for a 1978 Corolla, which cost $4,600 with the trade. If only I'd had a crystal ball ... keep the XL ... keep the XL ..... Getting rid of it was the biggest mistake of my life :(

  • Now that's what a real car sounds like.

The sound is just, fucking amazing,

  • i think aussie ford muscle cars are the coolest ones. look meaner than a mustang. just a car for bad motherfuckers!

  • optioned with power windows too

  • I have 2 Ford Coupes coming up for sale soon. One is a 1974 XB and the other a 1978 XC. Both 351ci Cleveland Auto's. Google for > Bloody Paraplegic John Dwyer < and follow the links. Cheers, John. Perth, Western Australia.

  • I'd give my left testy for that, i look at the paper for any ford muscle then you have to pick me up off the floor from passing out, from seeing the price. anyway bloody beaut car I'm jealous

  • Give it Back!

  • @nvrl8inav8 - Maybe you should have purchased it when it was all but left for dead, before it was restored nit wit. Who gives a shit where it is as long as it's being cared for and appreciated

  • @jg6674 If I want your opinion I'll shit in your mouth buddy. I am already doing a resto on my coupe. There are few enough here and I can't afford em all.. My comment was tongue in cheek not a genuine rebuke to the fellow. who has done quite a good job I might add. So back in your box nutjob.

  • unless youve driven one youd never know how amazingly comfortable those seats are as well.

The only accessory mine had was the sunroof. It was built buy a production line manager at Ford for himself and had a Holley 780, 4V heads and HM extractors fitted when it was built. It was a great car back when I was 21. It had been sitting for about 10 years when I gave it away, thats why the mileage was so low.

  • I see you got an early 1974 coupe, great find...

I had a factory black and silver early 74 GT coupe as well. It only has 60 000 original miles on it to this day. I was going to bring it to the US but ended up giving it to a friend who still has it. Its worth over $60 000 now. Same with my XA superbird coupe, it was a model they built to get enough sold to be allowed to race them. I gave that one away as well.

My daughter says the only person im allowed to give my cars to now is her... :)

  • I had the original Ford Brochure for the Coupes and it showed a Yellow and black like yours but the GT351 sticker on the side is up higher. The top of the lettering was level with the top of the black paint over the wheel arch. Ive never actually seen a road car with the stickers that high but thats where they were on the factory brochure.

  • one of the nicest / coolest cars Ford ever put out! Damn shame it never was produced in the states.........

  • That is sweet mate!! Look after her!

  • Thats the nicest XBGT coupe I have ever seen. Stunning!!

  • dayme i love the XA and XB GT's, im looking to buy a 250 for my P's, not a genuine though. apparently a V8's a bit too big to handle for a youngen

  • amen to that man, my dad left me a 351xb sedan but im only a P plater, im itchin to drive it .. pity i gotta wait 2 years though :(

  • looks strikingly similar to a torino in back and slightly reminiscent of a mach || in front. This is the coolest car I've ever seen, i also love the paint, not many cars can pull off yellow.

  • Thats At Tony's House! Sweet Ride

  • Great colour and what a note out of the exhaust! The new FG FPV GT's are worth a look...... maybe you can even import one to the USA and show them what Ford can really do!

  • I came close to importing one of those to Britain ten years ago.

    Wish I did now.

  • u need to change the flag on the front of ur house mate lol

  • ha i had 1 in the late 80's early 90's as a drag car when i sold it they wernt worth as much as they are know. only got 10g. major pissed ay.

  • Sounds sweet!

  • good old aussie muscle :D

  • The Aussies had some cool muscle cars! Great find.

  • I think 86TurboBuick needs to do some research before he comments.

  • fucken aye. wot a toss pot

  • Looks as good as it did 6 years ago. Looks awesome.

  • Look after her mate,i want a XB so bad but they are so rare now and i even live in Australia

  • Holy fuck! What I wouldn't give for one of those...

  • very cool ride...too bad the owner is not so cool !

    HAHA LMB!!!!

Sorry M....ya know I just had to!

  • D,

As Charles A. would say, "I've got "C" and "C" for you and I'm all out of "C"!
