Ian Anderson stopped the show and said the band wouldn't be continuing until the cigar was put out permanently. The guy stopped smoking it very quickly.

I remember an old live recording of Bruce talking about how the queen used to smoke to relieve PMS,... he didn't seem that pissed off about it then, Granted, it was a while ago and no one was smoking ( I guess, could be why he brought it up now that I think about it) and people can change, but I hate when people are "reformed" about their past transgressions and give other people a hard time. There are plenty that show cannabis extracts have shrunk tumors and even completely cured them in mice. And not some day, but right now. Look them up yourself. Fuck the haters. I've seen some bands where a band member quietly tells security instead. Believe me, it is MUCH worse. The offending person goes out in handcuffs. I've even seen that happen at a MASSIVE venue like HFStival in DC. The guy in question may not realize it, but it's probably better to feel a little stupid then, instead of the alternatives that I've seen happen (like leaving in cuffs).
Neither Bruce, the band, or other fans should have to put up with breathing pot or cig smoke.
