@stickks9875 Lugnut was inside Omega Supreme (the real one) using him to control the purple clones. Using the Magnus Hammer, Optimus Prime managed to crash all three on Dinobot Island; only two got up. Ratchet and Arcee reactivated Omega Supreme's consciousness, who then terminated Lugnut's control and tossed him out. At that point the clones went idle... until Starscream took over and activated two self-destruct bombs. Omega pounded the crap out of a second clone, leaving just one.

If they don't speak, the series producers, particularly D.J. Wyatt, would often confirm character names. Failing that, many of them were confirmed in other media, particularly the AllSpark Almanac(s).

It might just be me but in transformers 08 (As i somtimes call Animated.) the auto bot seem to use more extrem mesures too asure victory. While in G1 they seem to pley more buy the rules not that the 08 autobots dont but their methods seem more extreme than the old days

He said Omega sacrificed himself, and that could mean a number of things, not just death. Modified stasis is basically a coma, but with enough occasional/active maintenece that they could eventually get him up and working again, if they needed to.
