@bachehshamali , i pity ur knowledge... pashtu is from iranian language family.. So.. its a major East iranian language which has a lot of farsi words... Dari which u people speak is a bridge language which was made by pashtuns, and iranians... Urdo is also bridge language which is made by pashtuns and indians to do business and other civil affairs.. The origin of a language is impacted by surrounding people and influences.. So.. there is no such thing as a pure language or pure ethnicity.

A lot of farsizubans in kabul and herat and mazar are pashtuns,, we have 10 percent of farsizuban in kandahar , which are all pashtun but speak farsi.. We are 70 percent of the population.

I feel very sorry for poor Afghans that they consider Ahmad Shah Massoud a national Hero with ALMOST divine status. When you compare Massoud to Hekmatyar, Rabani, Sayyaf, Taliban, Mazari or Dostum of course he was miles ahead of them in terms of morality and dignity. He or his men DID cause death and destruction of innocent but not as much as others. True national heroes are Ghandi, Nelson Mandela or Ataturk and compare to them Massoud is NOTHING. When did afghan standards got so low???
