  • @AnnabelleR100

His concerts are pure MAGIC. I saw him a couple summers back and he is STILL gorgeous. The positive energy Rick omits is SO major you're on a high for days. Oh, and the best part was being THISCLOSE to the stage and when he came off, he was letting women just reach out and touch him. I touched his hair. It was an UNreal moment for sure...sigghhh..great memories.

  • 61 old years and still rockin'!!!!!! Watch:"What's Victoria's secret?"

  • Isn't Rick Springfield great? Gosh, he was so hot, I used to lust over him even before what that word meant!!! LMAO!

  • If I remember correctly I think Sammy Hagar wrote this and presented it or rather let Rick use it. Can anyone confirm that?

  • @Webdragon220 the song you may be thinking of is "i've done everything for you" which sammy wrote and did himself also...

  • @Webdragon220 Sammy Hagar wrote "I've Done Everything For You" I believe Rick wrote "Love Somebody" himself.

  • I want this movieeeeeeeee! Where i can download it????????

No, I am not kidding, He's been in the last few episodes and he plays himself!

  • This is truly a blast from the past, wow you got to love Rick, he was amazing back then and he is still very much amazing now. Who would have thought Rick Springfield still going strong at the age of 60. Ricks first song that hit the charts here in the US was "Speak to the Sky" I was about three years old. Wow, Rick Springfield has and still l rocks my world!!!!

  • Lol, I loved "Jock Rock", in the 80's...where's my parachute pants and Chess King shirt, that was black, and turquiose , with the sleeves cut off

  • Man he understands love ! I love his music ! I wish we didn't get old. I still feel 21 when I hear this song. !!!!!

Nobody can hold a candle to him..... and he STILL ROCKS TODAY and looks yummy at 60!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Rick understands about the HUMAN TOUCH and knows how to connect with his fans in a way like no other performer can....hes a gift!

  • Rick Springfield is one of the best reasons we celebrate and see the 80's as the coolest decade of all time. A time when music videos were mostly cheesy, but the songs were standouts and just plain fun. Livin' in the 80's was indeed like livin' in Oz. Thank you, Rick, and keep Rocking on!

  • @odiemodie1 and in their 80s their hair was massive...

(im just sayin) and i agree with you on how we celebrate and see 80s as the coolest decade :P

  • @odiemodie1 -Well said, well said, Here here.

  • @odiemodie1 best way to put it, living in OZ. those were the days!

  • @odiemodie1 Can't add a word well said 80's rule!!!!

  • Are you kidding?! He wasn't even half as big as the Kinks, let alone the Rolling Stones!! What are you smokin'?

  • If youre a KINKS fan... then how come you're listening to RICK??

The only thing thats SMOKING here is RICK!! SMOKING HOT!!

  • Ummmm and what are the Kinks doing today??? Rick is still rocking at 60 and yes, Still SMOKIN' HOT!!!! And oh yeah, I bet he's not 'half as big---ummmm fat' as the kinks today. You'r right!!!

  • he is always great.

    timeless

  • He's got some of the best songs and some of the worst videos :) Perfect for the 80s, but oh so very cheesy now.

  • lmao!!! My very same thoughts!

  • great song... my fav of his

  • Sorry but it's not as funny as the other claim. Almost.

  • i searched for this song, and wala..thank goodness its here.

bullshit imeem, u sucks why post songs which run only at 30 seconds.

  • great song

  • Oh my God he was soooooo handsome guy!!!

  • he is still gorgeous!!!! check it out :)

  • Great Song & Vid. Thanks for posting

  • rick is the man

  • American record companies have a tendency to screw and exploit with their foreign imports. Rick Springfield is no exception. If he was born in America, he would have been Glen Campbell of rock.

  • I saw him in 1999 in concert in my state! He rocked then.

  • I like the movie and this hit song!

  • This guy is 60, & he is still sooooo hot!

  • Amen, sister!

  • Rick had a winner with this song...an almost PERFECT pop song...great chorus, good guitar riffs, decent lyrics, amazing melody...gotta love it...plus, it takes ya back...it's all good, here

  • LOve this song....He's so sexy when he swings his leg when he sings. Loved him when I was a teenager. Now I'm 45 and he's still fab.

  • Yes you do, Jennifer !! Infact that I'm not gay....

He' s a cool man !!!! And my favorite !

  • Rick Springfield was and still is great.Still hot too!

  • He'll be performing in our town in late September 2009 and My sisters and my neice will be going to his concert. Of course I was the one who had the huge crush on him and I always remind myself that he's untouchable cause he is very much married. Darn it!

  • Tim Pierce is the best

  • Finally someone else who recognizes Tim Pierce's guitar talent.

  • Saw him this past Friday (4/3/09) at Nokia Theater in NYC. The guy puts on a great show and actually came off the stage and walked through the audience. Man, the ladies were going nuts!!!! I'd be lucky to look like him at 59! LOL!! If he comes through your town, check him out and Hall & Oates who put on a great show as well.

MTV and VH1 are controlled by pieces of garbage who just want kids to behave like spoiled sluts or crackheads. I feel sorry for teens today. The 80s and 90s ruled!

  • Seen him 4 times. He is bad ass. Love his shows and all his songs sound just like he did 20+ years ago.

  • I always check out Rick's website and in late 2007 Ace Frehley went to see him perform in New York. Now, what does that tell you about Rick as a musician. Rock God Guitarist Ace went to see Rick perform.

  • That's awesome! I agree, after seeing him live, I realized that he is a much more talented musician than people realize. He also has an engaging stage presence. Eat your heart out Jon Mayer, you overrated hipster doofus!

  • "What do you mean MTv didn't have any commercials?"--The young people at my job

  • I was 14 years old, what a great time, i still remember the movie.

  • The movie flopped because the female lead wasn't' up to snuff! A terrible actress and way too old to be playing Ricks love interest not to mention not a nice looking girl either.Everybody that's that I know that's seen the movie thinks the same thing. It's unfortunate because it wasn't a bad story at all. I don't know where they got this actress and have never seen her in anything since. Maybe she was the directors girlfriend? Anyone know?

  • i love at movie show is butt

  • I am straight, but I would kill to look like him. Saw three times - AWESOME.

  • You have to admit the part where he drops his towel is your fave!!

  • rick so hot in 80s

  • I'm a closet Rick Springfield fan. This song was great!

  • this song is so freaking gd!, love it.

who said that old music is bad?

    5/5

  • this video deserves more views

  • not my type...but it is good, i will not say it's bad.

  • Great tune!

Takes me back to a better time...

  • Thanx 4 posting...This guy was / is good at just about everything he did / does...

  • El mejor artista musical de los ochentas!!!! Excelente cantante, compositor, eximio guitarrista y además actor!!!

  • One of the besting sounding vocalists on a rock song. This clip doesn't do justice to the original recording. I could care less whether you like the 80's or his appearance.

  • Rick still rocks!!! I love the 80's.......

  • MTV is not MTV anymore I remember when all it showed was music videos 24/7. Now all they show is crap. Where did we go wrong?

  • You know that's right.

I remember as a kid the first day MTV went on the air and it was awesome...I tuned it on not long ago and all it had was stupid so called 'reality' shows and crap videos...

  • You got that right. I remember when the M in MTV stood for Music and not Mundane. Even VH1 sucks now. the VH stood for Video Hits not Very Horrible.

  • You must've stayed up all night thinking of that one.

  • Don't Hate, phojodave acutually nailed it about the former lives of MTV & VH1. I guess progress sucks, but i'm thankfull for VH1 Classic, at least they play vids.

  • I love, love, love this song/video. I had such a crush on Rick back then (80's). Watching this video brings back so many good memories. Thanks! :)

  • All these comments kick ass 80's music was 2nd to none. Proud to say I was a child of the 80's

  • Long live the 80's. MTV died a long time ago.

  • Yep, it makes me cry sometimes cause MTV went to the garbage. I hate the music today, thank god Ricky Springfield keeps touring.

  • Mediocre moving, but an awesome soundtrack!

  • OMG, I'm sooo proud to have been an 80's child. I was 11 when this song came out. God, I remember him when he was on General Hospital. The most amazing decade of music ever!! It had a little bit of something for everyone. Music today doesn't even compare.

  • 80's music are much better!

    Thanks!!

  • I watched this video almost everyday in the summer of 1984 until my brother taped over it...Thanks for posting it...

  • 80s music = a decade where music was written from the heart first, paycheck second aka the absolute best music.

  • Is it possible to go back to the decade where everyday you had fun? So many great memories bring about sad times today

  • this is probably one of my favorite movies ever no actually it is tied for first with this other 80's movie

  • One of the BEST songs of the 80's, which happens to be the best DECADE in music.

  • I agree
