@Dysfunctionalzzz You can only have 1 God Card at a time. But If you battle Yami Yugi who appears at night or Marik (Not Yami) who appears in the morning, (This is in the city) you can trade the God Card you have for the one they got, which would be either Ra or Obelisk. It will take a little time before they ask you to trade your card.

@RoyCulemborg you have to trade with yami yugi first, not regular yugi. you have to be his friend and keep battling him over and over. eventually he'll ask if you have obelisk/slifer and just trade what you have. then after you beat the game make marik your friend and the same process. yami yugi will never ask for ra, so its best to trade with him first if you want 100% cards collected.

Yami Bakura will never be your friend, or PaniK, The Big 5, Noah, Gozaboro or any of the Rare Hunters expect Odion and Strings, Everyone else can become your friend, and remember once you duel Odion, Pegasus "disappears" from the game

this game is horrible, the translation is horrible, DDV effect is misleading, god cards can be destroyed with mirror force.. which is outrageous if you read what the effect for the god card is (not affected by spell or trap the designate a monster.) the password machine is pointless because it only works if you have 80% or more of a certain pack, and if you have 80% or more the chances are.. you already have the card you want.... this game = 1 word: RETARDED

@maplestorywater imo its the best for the original series... Mirror Force affects any monster in attack mode. That's why even the tourney legal Obelisk is NOT immune either. the pw machine only works if you have the card already, so if you have one Thunder Dragon, you can get a second one to use for Twinheaded Thunder Dragon.

I dont rate Ra in game at all. For a God card it isnt a game changer like Obelisk or Slifer as the monsters you sacrifice MUST have decent atk to begin with.

@omgykk0 It helps not to have other cards he wants to trade for. There's a trade guide on gamefaqs. And to fight Yami Marik again, you need to go to the duel base in the city ocean and duel the phase 3, YM is the last of the 6 competitors.

I chose 'unity' when Ishizu asked me that question, but got Obelisk :/ oh well, if Yami asks to trade his Slifer for my Obelisk I'll accept, but I was thinking of trading Obelisk with Marik for his Winged Dragon of Ra.

btw why do the Egyptian Gods have to have such shit animations when they're on the field? I mean they could've come up with something bette for Slifer and Ra, Obelisk's isn't that bad though...

@kibateo first he has to ask you to register him, then after a few duels he will ask to trade. However, your Egyptian God Card must be in your trunk, not your deck, if you want to trade it ;)

@EspeonPhysic UNLESS YOU USE ACTION REPLAY, you can only get one at a time. About mid-way through the story mode, you'll meet up with Ishizu who forces you to choose between unity (slifer) or power (obelisk) and you must duel kaiba. Beat him and based on your selection you'll have one. To get slifer/obelisk, you need to trade with yami yugi later in the game for obelisk/slifer. To get ra you need to trade slifer/obelisk to marik for ra

@thorney12 you need to beat Yami Marik in a duel (win the game) then battle Marik enough to make him your friend. When he is, put your god card, obelisk or slifer, in your trunk and trade him for it

@uruigi you can't have all three at once, unless you use a cheat device. To complete 100% cards obtained just choose Slifer first, trade with Yami Yugi to get Obelisk, then trade with Marik for Ra. Your data will show you have held all three.
