Kara DioGuardi: Why Ellen Will Be Good for "American Idol" on SIRIUS XM

I'm looking forward to this season, will be interesting to see how it all works out. I do however want the press to get off Kara's case and stop being so unecessarily harsh about her. She did an amazing job last year & deserved to be there. Her industry knowledge & professional credentials are first class and the girl can sing! I just hope the public warm to her so she can relax and be herself a bit more. I just hope she can shake off that 4th judge brand. She's No.1 by a long shot to me!

Just don't like Kara for Idol. Not a personality for this show. I LOVE Ellen!! my favorite of all time!! But I think it will turn the Idol show into a comedy, leaving behind what only PAULA can do!! Paula is the show, just as Simon and Randy are. I may not watch anymore...the competition part is fun to watch, but just as I don't watch the other talent shows because of their choice of judges - ruins it for me.

I guess AI felt they still needed the "nice" element to balance out Simon. If they insist on having four judges, DeGeneres is a very good choice.

I will miss Paula, but knowing Ellen will be the 4th judge has me ecstatic. I'm a big Ellen Degeneres fan and I believe she will add so much to the show. She will also be the voice of the people and I'm sure she'll tell it like it is as she usually does. If she doesn't, her facial expression may say it all.

Awe I love Kara! Im sad about no Paula, =[ but at Least Kara isnt the newbie and hopefully ppl will give her the respect she deserves!
