Its so much easier to just clamp it at the roots, angle it to where some hair is wrapped around the top and just go down like your straightening your hair. it's SO much easier and doesn't leave creases

Curling irons&&straightners are to different things. Just use a curling iron, unless you want that damaged creased look(:

@TiggerGoRawr17 If you do it this way, it makes a crease. But if you wrap your hair around the flat iron then spin the iron up until the hair is facing down, it doesn't make a crease. It actually makes a better curl than doing it the way they showed in the video. I you want to see the results, you can watch Rosebud143. She's like an expert on hair styling.

Yeah you can spend forever trying to get it right with a straightener and possibly burn yourself when you try to hold it at the end and then end up with creases in the curls...OR just get a curling iron -_-

@nemoandbling just a tip, instead of using hairspray, you can try gently running moose through your hair, on each seperate curl. it usually lasts longer, and it keeps your hair shiney & wavy.

fake- holding a hot straightener at the tip!..

i don't know, but i doubt it.. i'm almost 25 and have been using straighteners for years now.. there's no way she has straight hair.. she has to have some sort of natural wave to it b/c my hair is naturally straight and so thick that i can't even curl my hair w/o it frizzing up unless i get it done professionally with a curling iron and a ton of hair spray!

It depends on how hot your straightener gets when it's on... mine is warm but not hot, so I can hold it like she does. But if yours gets too hot, there's also gloves to protect your hands, I believe.
