Class 3 weapons have to be registered BY LAW.

Owning ANY un-registered class 3 weapon is illegal.

Not to mention, importing NFA weapons (as the G36C is made in Germany) was banned in the gun control act of 1968, that is if your not the military or law enforcment.

As extreme as this sounds, the US has stricter weapons controls than europe.

sure getting a gun or missile in the EU is about impossible, but there is NO law stopping you from owning most other types of military equipment.

In the UK, tank and artillery pieces dont have to be demilled.

In the US, the govt has made sure they have put red tape on access to anything that would give us a tactial advantage.
