About the time travel theory: if someone goes back in time to break something that causes time travel to be possible, how did they gain the power to travel through time if it never becomes possible?

Time is a single line, you cannot change it because of the butterfly effect, if you decide to change something for whatever reason, you'd end up not doing it because you removed the motivation to do so.

SO, if you loved your teddy bear and went back in time to burn your own teddy bear, you actually never loved your teddy bear and the consequences (if any) would be visible in your timeline.
