  • I love the Detroit Historical Museum, and this movie makes me love it that much more!

  • 2:02 , box fail. Play-doh?

  • Of course it is a parody on the golden age of silent movies. Maybe a project from film students. The villain is clearly a mix of Vincent Price and the ever so evil Snidely Wiplash.

  • This movie couldn't have been made in 1905 cuz of the hair do at 1:42 is a short modern day cut for ladies. Women generally did not cut their hair until 1920s customarily. It wasn't until Bernice Bobs Her Hair in the 20s that women cut their hair in the stylish Bob in the 20s.

  • Oh, you must have had SO much fun making this! Such attention to details, too. I love it. Really the only thing that gives it away is the hair and makeup, and I don't think there's much more anyone could have done to make it "more accurate," given today's hairstyles that actors have. So, who are these wonderful actors? :)

  • Spiffing good show, old bean!

  • Guys this is amazing!!! Great job!!!

  • this is very well done guys, keep it up.

  • @Tament13 dude... this was made... almost 100 years ago. what do you mean 'keep it up' ??!

  • @DoubleCresentFilms Meaning I appreciated the video mate.

  • @DoubleCresentFilms Very funny.

Good job guys. I'd like to see one from the 1920s .

  • Holy underwear, Batman! It must have been the spirit of DW Griffith that sent me to youtube tonight to find this delightful flick! What a delight! Wasn't that Buster "Butterfingers" McCrabb as the clumsy grocery boy? And I now know where Snidely Whiplash went after Dudley DoRight threw him out of Canada! Heavens to murgatroid....I can't tell you how much I enjoyed watching this little gem. An awful lot of hard work must have went into it. Kudos all around! Happy holidays to you & yours!

  • I have to pish

  • that's funny!

  • Fantastic job! Loved every minute of it!

  • well, i bet no one ever ordered eggs from that grocery haha

  • Very well done. It is most evident that a lot of work went into this. I felt like I was back in 1916 at the local movie house.

  • Great attention to detail in this movie, it really gives you those old timey tickles.
