Don't worry as I go along in this Walkthrough I start choosing my own attacks and such. With very little ATB Gauges and hardly anything to choose from I just auto-battled for awhile and I hate auto-battling but as you go along I start picking my own stuff more cause I find Auto-Battling overused and overrated :)

u know that part with the line of all them bad guys u got to fight??? yh i figured out a cheat to avoid all of them this is what i did: I PANICKED AND RAN STRRIGHT ACROSS!!! seriously it worked XD but i think i got held back once on some easy guys xx lol

i just bought FF13 and there is 3 disc. is it 1 disc for afew chapter and the other disc is the continuing of it?

So obviously you bought the 360 version. Yes each of the 3 discs are continuing parts of the story. The PS3 version only has 1 disc and it's because the 360''s disc could not fit all that data on 1 disk. The Pre-Rendered scenes were thanks to that you know the high quality 3D like cutscenes. For it's sequel Final Fantasy XIII-2 there will be no more Pre-Rendered scenes that like the PS3 version it'll be on 1 disk.

The radar is a verry simple tool,

It can show you the place you last fought a mob.

If you go far enough away from that X on the radar and mobs you've previously killed will start to respawn.

@RCfan234 It's called appealing to a simpler audience. Less work into an open world game and have audiences just pick it up because they're used to straight forward action games is just easier for the developer. Of course people are going to like this one, someone is bound to love something. Far cry from the original FF games and I believe people would have loved this one even more if it gave them the freedom the originals had. Sadly, this is the state of gaming today. Could be so much more.

One reason. Hate this is because it's like old style fighting and it's linear as fuck, there is only one way to go either go forward or back, well at least the first level and then I returned it and I love RPG's , wait what genre is this?

@benimo6 well some of us who have been playing final fantasy since the first one came out (yeah im that old, lol, actually still young tho im only 21 but started playing these at like age 3) dont like this one because it doesnt allow u to adventure and explore as much as the previous games. the other games had open worlds where u could travel pretty much as far as u want in any direction. this one is very linear as u can only go forward or back. i still like this one tho, just sayin the argument

And btw I suggest u pick u FF13 2 If u want exploration theyve added Chocobo Racing,A Casino,Historia Crux is a thing that lets u alter a place youve been before!!!! And If u see some of the gameplay its got WAAAAY bigger maps and options on where to go!!! lets just hope u can be someone besides Serah and NOEL....... lol
