you seem to be having some problems with the transitions from picking to finger-picking. I suggest practicing palming the pick in your right hand. You can still pick with all 5 fingers with it in your palm. Try it. 

Or, you can simply hold the pick with your thumbs and index finger (the regular way), and pick other strings with the other 3 fingers.

Im guessing yer guitar is tuned down to Eb then capoed @ the 5th...right? I have a GW transcription, but it simply has it in standard w/ capo @ the 3rd fret......probably easier tuned down w/ Eb,looser strings etc..
