  • Why is this unlisted?

  • @DoctorMGinius i have a few video game music vids like this on my channel that i don't really want on there anymore so instead of deleting them i made them unlisted

  • can anyone do a live version of these?

  • The first song sounds like the start of Super Adventure Island.

  • aw fuck that elevator music.....i played it 6 years ago :D

  • do you guys remember one of the first missions "block the raptors entering the visitor center" ? i took me forever to figure out that i had to push that stupid crate... LOL.. when i did it by acident i swear i reseted my snes just to do it agian, after that the game was easy :) ... there's one thing that i also remember.. in the back of the cover, it showed diferent levels than the ones in the game.. anyone noticed this?

  • im gunna make a dubstep mix with the mountain track

  • @Quinny6The9Warrior did you?

  • The lack of a save feature and the overall difficulty of the game combined with that, plus the fairly easy gameplay against the dinos made this one mediocre, but I always thought it had some cool ideas and, of course, some great music.

  • @outtagoodnamesdangit Yeah, the lack of a save feature combined with the games length made it a brutal playthrough (not to mention the general confusion about completing mission objectives). The ending was anti-climatic, as well. You didn't even get to see the helicopter that lifts you away to safety.

I wanted to fight the t-rex, always wondered why you never battled him at the end of the game (after all, the 3rd gate you released would have allowed him to wander out of his paddock).

  • @TheJamesrocket The game was mediocre, but not because it was "meh" all over. It had a mix of good and bad. It had great music, it set up a daunting atmosphere, the gameplay was involving, really giving the sense that you were there.

But once you figured out how to farm up huge amounts of ammo, killing enemies in one hit became easy and the 3D parts were way too simple. And again, the stuff you mentioned. The Sega Genesis version wasn't the greatest game ever, but it was much more rewarding.

  • i loooove the Mountain tune...sound like Jarre's 'waiting for cousteau' cd

  • i had the spanish version of this game so i definatly couldnt complete it agghhhh

  • I remember back in 4th grade, we had a school field trip to explore some indian cave up a mountain. I spent the entire hike playing these tracks in my head :D

  • i remember when i bought this game when it came out, good times

  • SNES have a good soundchip but the engineers at nintendo couldnt make it sound non-false im sorry...

  • Dude, I got this game on my smartphone! xD

  • Since I saw a few people who wanted to know where to find this music, and seeing as I just spent the last hour feverishly trying to do just that, here's how:

Go to Zophar's Domain to download the .spc's (snes music file format) for the tracks, + for any other games you'd want For windows, apparently all you do is download a plugin for winamp. But for mac's, use Game Music Box, load the files and do 'record track' under File.

    You're welcome.

  • I remember I bought this game as a boy after reading a review in Nintendo Power magazine. I never beat it, but I hope I get around to it someday...

  • Dr. Grant... "Sucker!"

  • I LIKED THE JUNGLE I NEVER FINSIH THIS GAME

  • 4:55 this reminds me of a song back around 2000 but I can't place my finger around it and it's driving me nuts! Anyone know what I'm talking about

  • @Jhonka411 Is it something from any of the 007 video games? Or a TV series?

  • @XxShadowvalkyriexX Nope turns out it was "Battleflag" by Lo fidelity allstars

  • Best music to compete against today's? You bet JUR ASS IC can! :D

  • @bealtespip123 AVGN

  • Grant !

  • @zooropah82 Alan!

  • @jforonda31383 hahahaha just like "grant"! XD

  • @zooropah82 hahahaha fucking awesome!!!

  • Man this was great music! The game was almost impossible to beat, especially with no save function. It took me many, many hours. But after a few game freezes and a kick-ass map/chart that I drew up with all of the info, I finally beat it. One of my great achievements in life. :P

  • @robthorn24 haha well done!

  • The 3 dislikes were the 3 raptors.

  • I know this comment is completely off the JP topic but, this track surprisingly would sound better in RE5. The part when you enter the Marshlands.

  • To Nintendo: PLEASE RELEASE THIS IN THE WII ONLINE SHOP!!

  • Loved the tunes on this game, even though i was sitting in the dark at 12 years of age with nothing but that catchy elevator music frustrating me as i went about the lonely park....SHITLESS......and of course the no-save function....so one day i got my shit together and set out to finish it....took nearly 13 hours with a few pause breaks.....i only done it once, but i was damn fuckin proud cos this game took no prisoners

  • puke, i hated this game. Music was okay though.

  • Only downside to this game is you can't save. And when you are playing it for the first, time it can take a while to complete in one sitting.

  • The game was very popular back in 1993. The downside to the 3-D is not enough graphics like id Software DOOM, as in raptors not walking through a door or elevator. Like the raptors see you, but they don't come after you, they just stand. But it is kind of eerie with the Indoor 3-D music playing.

  • I love this games music. Some really nice quality samples, as well as great rhythm.

  • Some of the best music from the games. lol

  • get funky!

  • Now I remember why this game was so hard...it was made by Ocean. I don't think they had one game that was remotely easy. x_x

  • This game is part of the reason I refuse to play any first-person game, even if there are no enemies waiting to ambush you.

  • got this game when i was about 5 yrs old. took me a good 15 years to reacquire it and beat it. so satisfying.

  • At 7:07 The Elevator music sounds like Tetris BGM 1 on NES.

  • I wish I could play this game now! I miss it!

  • @Bronco2Thousand emulators dude..lol

  • @Cresitan258 tell me wherrreeeee D:

  • @quarbox Coolrom D0T C0/\/\

  • man, who composed all this?

  • @da12tall4u: Jon Dunn composed all the music for this game.

  • so many old memories :) 2:24 is my favorite out of all of them.

  • The music really rocked! Why don't they make music like this anymore??? The last good soundtrack I heard from a game was Half Life 2

  • After u beat it all it says is "Congratulations! You have escaped from Jurassic Park".Worst ending ever.

  • @Tronn47 But the gameplay was good.

  • This game really deserves a remake. =(

    Best JP game ever.

  • @ADMPirata Yeh totally!! Bethesda shud make it, using their same engine thats used for the Elder Scrolls game, so Imagine Skyrim as the Island, the visitor's centre, and all the places in glorious nex-gen graphics, big and open to explore, proper survival.

  • This game rocked my world as a kid!! I would play it myself and fail horribly, but my father rocked at it. He also recorded beating the game on a VHS. Gotta have proof I guess. :S

  • Hated going in the god damn rooms in 1st person view...shit...

  • Aww so many memories...I can still never beat this game.

  • it's awesome how in order to beat this game you have to play it one sitting, or leave your nintendo on

  • Loved walking inside the paintings or what not in the Raptor Den level.

  • hai hai hai j'adore cetet zic serieux quand on et IG mais vla comment ces prenant

  • those red raptors that popped out of the bushes scared the fuck out of me!

  • @HORRORFAN214 That's what really got my reflexes up to date.

  • fantastc

  • So nostalgic.. good times playin this game.

  • This game was really hard and in some places it had horrible glitches... you had to reset the game and lose all progress =(

  • Kick-ass soundtrack. Remember when movie video game tie-ins were actually good?

  • @uakronkid Tell me about it the game actually followed the story and built on parts the movie hinted on like the ship. Now I don't even bother even looking at game tie-ins

  • yeah this used to scare the hell out of me as well when i was younger. forgot how awesome the music was tho

  • The sega genesis JP game was by far the most awesome....i loved that game so much

  • @dinoboy501 How does Rampage Edition rank? We had that when I was a little kid, but not the regular Genesis one.

  • @DemiLoc ya, that was actually the one i was talking about. we had both of them, but when i played them when i was like 3 i liked the rampage one lol. every few years i get the sega out and play those games again and a huge wave of nostalgia hits me. those were good memories...sigh

  • @dinoboy501 I kinda liked playing as the Velociraptor (I think that's what it was).

  • hehe i played this game yesterday for like the first time in 10 years and i still couldnt win

  • game was awesome, well thought out, very hard to master, took forever but really made you think, music was badd ass!!!!! dont remember if i actually ever got all of the eggs!!!

  • I used to hate this game as a kid because I had no idea of what to do. Dicking around was all I really did. Eh, at least A Link to the Past had a map screen and clear objectives, this game felt cryptic like the original LoZ.

Now I'm an adult and I really appreciate this game a lot more now than when I was a kid. Music is freaking awesome, and now with the internet of today if I'm ever lost I can get a walkthrough online to help me out.

  • What I love about this is that this game had better music than the original movie. Video game music is an under-appreciated genre.

  • 5:21... daft punk? haha

  • Man!

I never couldnt beat this game on snes, Maybe on Emulator, but emulator doesnt count for me as an "achievement" xD

  • Sorry I had to do this but the views are... OVER 9000!!!!!!!!!!!

  • point is ?

  • @bonde92

the game is LONG and the dinosaurs are scary. But it has an awesome soundtrack.

  • It's ok. We all feel the need sometimes. ;-)

  • i am pleased to announce that after 20 years of having this game, I FINALLY BEAT IT

  • Great scott! You've had it for longer than it existed!

  • @necros782 this made me laugh so hard because i have never beaten it

  • @mattluty me neither

  • @necros782 Someday...someday I will bask in the glory of victory as well, my friend. Congrats.

  • @necros782 Your lucky, I can barely get anything done!! :P

  • @necros782 Congrats. Now beat Metroid on the SNES

  • @AaronSmith0 Why Metroid on the SNES?

  • @necros782 wow, I never was able to, I'd have to try again.. I got to messing around with the dino eggz in the boat, that's all I remember from 15 years ago...

  • @necros782 great job one of the hardest games in my opinion

  • @necros782 I am 30 and wish I beat that mofo back in 93' lol

  • @necros782 THIS GAME IS BEATABLE?!

  • @HanzoHattori15 Insanely long and hard, but yes. As far as I know, there is no save... so once you started, you HAD to finish it. Which ultimately turns the game boring and repetitive.

Anyway... still a great game. :D Spent several hours playing and don't regret about it.

  • @ electric dude same here when i was a kid playin this i would avoid those rooms at all costs

  • I too was terrified of this game...especially when you're in the buildings and a velociraptor was around every corner.

  • @electricskillet

Yeah I know me too. But whenever I would do it I would just turn the lights on volume down and Some techno music of mine on lol. But damn this game is the longest game ever. I beat it once and I don't feel like doing it again.

It does have an awesome soundtrack though.

  • Man, childhood memories are just flooding my mind, Awesome!

  • Good music for the game ^^ hoping I can find this for download somewhere.

  • cool times, cool games

  • has an oldskool rap feel to it. like dj premier or easy mo bee.

  • To me:

The Scariest game I ever played

  • how?

  • @mastersirus1985 those FPS moments... s dkfjljadsklfjsdkjfladsjflkd D: D: D:

  • @mastersirus1985 YESSSS everywhere u went something pops out! and when your in 1st person mode, the dinos have red eyes and rush u

  • @mastersirus1985 i am sorry, but i disagree with you. the genesis game is even more frightening. need more proof, just look for some gameplays of the genesis version.

  • Elevator music ftw indeed. I am incorporating it as a theme for a character I made up. Belongs to her wide field of themes and dance moves.

  • i rented this a few times and could never get very far in it...

  • Ah,such memories This would sound great in a really atmospheric metroid game.

    Music Guide

    0:06 Chozo Ruins

    2:24 Phendrana Drifts

    4:54 Magmoor Caverns

    7:07 Space Pirate Elevator LOL.

  • I remember the T-rex suddenly run out of the forest while playing creepy music. First time I saw that me and my brother nearly crapped our pants!

  • i beat this game once, and the ending was very disappointing , but it is still a fun game to play, the soundtrack is great too.

  • yessss it was... the same happens with the end of Jurassic Park 2: the chaos continues: the best super nes intro EVER, and a REALLY silly ending. But the game was good too.

  • @soccerman641

Can you or somebody else tell me where I can download music from games that is in regular CD format, not MP3 format? Thanks.

  • By the way...love the New Jack Swing flavor on these tracks! So funny how that is recognizable now.

  • Yea this game creeped me out a bit when I was a kid.

Who am I kidding...it still does. Such a wuss.

  • This game felt like you were really trying to survive on a prehistoric island. Pretty creepy atmosphere for a old game too!

  • I could NEVER beat this game!

  • me neither

  • I did it, but I had to call the Nintendo hint line twice, and it took over eight hours. And the ending is basically a screen that says "congratulations." I was a bit ticked off. Still a good game, though. It just REALLY needed a password system or save function.

  • i agree: was too large.

  • Man this takes me right back to my childhood...The composer that made the music for this game really and I mean REALLY out did themselves, They certainly earned their paycheck here. Great game!

  • I used to rent this all the time. I always thought the music was one of the best parts of the game, really atmospheric and fitting.

  • One of the hardest games ever....lol and so friggin long!

Haha I'm gonna waste the day away beating this tomorrow :P

    Happy fourth of July!

  • ELevator Music FTW

  • @1supersoniccontrol I prefer the "river" music

  • I have been searching for this music for YEARS. Where did you get it and how can I download?

  • this game was way too complex for kids, the fps levels were kinda cool at the time tho

  • omg the memories with this game, the mountain theme was my favorite

  • only 2 hours? well done good sir o.o

  • River is a great one :) Else, great themes indeed. Composer did one heck of a great job. Even the elevator music is great.

  • I was lucky beating the game because I could hardly read, and when I did I was so excited, and then it said you escaped the island... I was for all of that!

  • R.I.P. micheal crichton.

  • @abellang I didn't even know he was dead when I read his novels! x_X

  • Time Warp!

  • man i used to play this, love the river music, thx for this!

  • this game used to scare the fuck out of me. damn t rex

  • me too, the'yd sorta pop out lol, not to mention the first person parts too XD

  • yeaaaa, after that fucker i turned off the game

  • @w3dn3sday13 dude me too! If I remember, I only met the T Rex once and he ate me. I got so nervous that I quit the game forever hahahaha

  • @w3dn3sday13 The hallway scenes did the same thing man. Those raptors snuck up on you and I was just 7!

  • I owned it for a while. Traded it recently for Dragon View on SNES. Not a bad trade, but JP still has a soft spot in my heart.

  • i could never figure out how to beat this game lol. but i loved it and the music for sure. the mountain song was my favorite back in the day.

  • Love the music of the whole game!

  • The mountain music is my favorite. I like it the most.

  • totally remember this game. good times on the snes.
