Two of my favorite albums of all time are "souls at zero" and "enemy of the sun"...the only way I know to describe Neurosis music is to call it...nightmare punk???...it almost has a metal edge to it. Whatever it is, I LOVE IT!!! Can anyone recomend other similar bands or other must have neurosis albums? Anyone???? I welcome any encouragement!

@theGDbatman8686 Neurosis' earlier work is certainly very punky, but I think you'll find that the majority of people would say that most of their music is more leaning towards metal. If you like the earlier ( more punky ) albums, and you like this (Crawl Back in ), then you are pretty much set. Get all of their albums, although if you don't like metal too much, you'll probably want to check out Given to the Rising, just to see if you can take the "more metally" stuff.
