Anyway, as far as NRA President making such comment as "Those who own guns rule..." I believe he/she may be referring to a quote of what Thomas Jefferson once said: "When the government fears the people, you have liberty.

Therefore... it is the 2nd Amendment that helps ensure the foundation of our democracy! Gov't will not oppress Americans who are armed.

Hello Youtubers =) Just wanted to clarify a few things regarding this Anti-Gun video.
1. AK-47's type rifles that are made available to the average American Citizens are NOT fully automatic. These rifles will only fire, one time per trigger pull. These rifles CAN actually be used for hunting if so desired, BUT most utilize these firearms as sporting rifles in target and recreational shooting.

First off, fully automatic weapons are not legal for the average person to own, you need a class 3 license.
Many people(including me)buy guns because they are fun to shoot, same thing with fast cars. If I want to own a Ferrari or AK47, that's up to me whether you think it's justified or not.
Legally purchased guns make up for a very small fraction of those used in crime and most are handguns, not "assault" rifles. As of 98, not a single person with a concealed carry permit has killed a cop.

The second amendment was to ensure that the majority would have a check and balance over the minority that makes up our government.
