When I cut a 45 on a picture frame, this method would be great for the first cut on one end, but when I cut the 45 on the other end I need a stop block to ensure that both parallel pieces of the frame are the exact length... No pencil marks will do for this.. I would not buy it
@lapinrouge1234 I was going to dispute your statement but I can't. I am a woodworker and at first I didn't see anything too terrible about his method but I have to agree. The waste piece on the fence side could have kicked back, the jig is awfully close to the blade with no sacrifical piece to cut into. So if you hit the jig your done for or at least the jig is ruined. Lastly, I don't trust those little quick clamps not to shimmy a little and that could put your fingers into the blade.
I'd rather get a miter saw

jeeze - see how close his fingers get to the blade!! and then theres the steel cramp also nearly touching it!!! lethal.
amazing - this clown would be sacked instantly from any British joinery shop - I can believe this is supposed to be 'good' technique
work like this for a living and you will be losing fingers by the end of the year

Impressive unit. I wish my Rockler store was closer.

Hmmm...that looks dangerous especially with the cutoff between the blade and the fence like that.
Also the ring should be removed or the saw blade will remove it for him...
But a good jig it seemed

I have been using a tablesaw daily for almost forty years and have never removed my wedding ring, nor had the saw remove it for me.
the offcut from this operation isn't big enough to jam between the fence and the blade, so isn't really an issue either.
