A COLB is not the same thing as a LONG FORM ORIGINAL BIRTH CERTIFICATE, which he would have if he was born in Hawaii.

I do have a methodological concern about the poll. The question about Obama's birthplace followed 10 questions about respondents' views about the favourability of various Republicans and their suitability for the Presidency. Obama's birthplace was the only question of fact in the poll (excluding those about respondents' age or sex). For this reason, some respondents likely misunderstood the question and thought they were providing an opinion about Obama's suitability for the Presidency.
