More of an extensive face-lift over the old model by the look of it: the nose being a little bland but the rear improved, to my eye. However, the interior seems characterful, especially that dashboard surround design. I wonder if there will be a diesel 4X4 version.

Myself I quite like the approach of the presenter; simple and to the point, not over effusive like some. This wasn't a full road-test, just an introduction to what's changed from the old model.

@stenebrug Yep, terrible editing. Anyway, if you really want to know it, it just looks squared, but when you grab it is definitely (sorry, "ultimately") round. The effect is due to the sewing line. It is a desired effect, to match with the rounded square motive used for the whole styling of the interior.

Downsizing in general is basically decreasing production costs for the manufacturer while increasing running costs for the consumer. I much prefer the approach of Mazda, they're actually improving big 2 litre engines instead of downsizing or doing any of that hybrid garbage.

fiat has always has been complete crap. their cars appeal at no level. they're not the cheapest, not the prettiest, they are the least reliable, they rust and rot away in a couple of years, the engines are crap, have no power or torque, maintenance is expensive and you need to do it very often, spare parts are expensive, they use a lot of fuel, build quality is a disaster, moisture collects everywhere, the ride is terrible, the seats are uncomfortable and none of the electronics ever work right.

To me it suffers i9n the looks department compared to the old one. Doesn't have the charm. While i love the idea of the two cylinder engine in the 500, it doesn't appeal that much to me in a Panda. Historically it is @ as justified (first Pandas has a two cylinder engine in the line up), but it doesn't work for me in the new one.
