This is one of those songs that is too deep for the common human beings to understand. You can't mosh to it, yet it's not a soft song either- it's mellow and subtly painful. Not to mention this is no LINKING PARK or MY CHEMICAL ROMANCE phony-sugar-coated misery- Gavin means his words and the guitars are super high up in the mix with no sweetening.
Bush's lyrics, like many good bands don't make a lot of sense to their audiences....but you have to admit the guitar is really haunting in this song. That's why I dig this song..
ha ha, the worst band to come from England ..that seduced so many north Americans. 100% business men - went straight for the American market (we'd hardly heard of them in the UK). About as un rock n roll as it gets. Fame leaches - note Gavin Rossdale, and occasionlly Gwen bananas, regularly sitting next to Roger Federer's wife at all major tournaments.
@1292liam Think you need to listen to more English bands, there are fair fair worse. I remember the days when Bush got a lot of uk air play, Not anymore.
@1292liam Yeah, and notice all of the crappy music coming from the Europe in the last 25 years. 90's Bush and Muse are the only good music you've had come out of there since the 70's. The European music scene sucks ass, holmes.
@1292liam For me, Bush is the BEST band ever !!! I´ve seen them live three times and they rock ! I even met the band after their show in Vienna and they were all very kind and we had a chat and I got photographed with all of them :o)) And you, why do you waste your time and write comments about a band you don´t like ???
i used to get wasted to this song so many yrs ago like all the time..... just rememberd about it, searched it and bang here we are..... and it feels amazing to listen to it again and reminds me of those mental days....... never mind warm machine i want a time machine to go back to those crazy days/////
I was there too! I remember them playing this song twice to get extra footage for the video. I just saw myself at 3:00 to 3:05!!! we were right up front.
Youth today-don't know shit about this. People like me who are around 29 know what I'm talking about; this was our music. We can proudly say that our prime was in the 90's. WOW, think about that for a second; such a famous decade belongs to us in our lives and in our memories-forever.
However, when today's youth look back on THEIR prime years... well let's just say, someone has to have it shitty-better them than us.
The way shots of the fans and concerts are interspersed throughout the video really brings me back, almost brings a tear to my eye haha. I miss the 90s, and I miss Bush.
first i heard that about 10 years ago, i was 10 back then. i remembered the band and the song. BUSH. WARM MACHINE. and listening to it now, when i'm doin' shit in another kind of music (brutal/death/gring) when i'm listining it i'm remember when i was a kid. brilliant song, great times. i wish it could be forever...
