They don't do bisquick here in the UK, well i haven't seen it, so can you subsitute it with gluten free flour or rice flour? It looks so good well done.
@Brighteyes1ful I would try an equal measure of gluten free all purpose flour plus 1 teaspoon of baking powder. If you do try it like that please let me know how it turned out.
Hey Anne i cant wait to make this everything else I tried I love !!! The eggnog and chocolate fudge are so good. Keep the recipes coming. Thanks Victoria
I am not much on sweets or deserts and the like but if you give me an ice cold glass of milk I would eat that cake! OK! I would settle for a cup of good coffee to! I like the pattern on the cake! Makes for a nice presentation and I am sure that 99.9% of people would never even be able to tell the diff between your cake and one that is not gluten free! Looks delicious as always!
@MrEZCooking You can take my word for it, this cake is just as good if not better than the way I used to make it. Now bread is another story. If I could just conquer a really crusty loaf of bread my suffering days would be over. Thanks for taking the time to watch. ;)
@EZGlutenFree I don't know much about baking and the only things I usually make besides a pizza is a quiche or a stromboli or calzone. I get a pretty crusty dough when I add oil to the dough or parm and oil it seems and I get good a crusty without using shortening AND butter for them.
@bilrts55 Thanks for the compliment. No I'm not a professional cook. I just really enjoy cooking. I have been known to spend hours watching Professional Cooks on TV. :)
@fatlossbydesign Did you like that one? I wish I had the calories to spare. I have to really be careful not to over eat foods like this that are high on the glycemis index. I'm not telling you anything new. You have the principles of a low glycemic diet covered well at your site.
