What kind of job was he doing? Most jobs pay enough to make a computer (even a mac) possible within about 4 weeks pay.

I can't prove that what he said in this interview was true, but however, if it is true, he really had problems with his pc, and when he switched it helped him. I'm not a fanboy of any kind and i use both pc and mac daily, but my mac really is more smoother than my pc.
