I got this Joker figure, and naturally I wanted to try and make his eyes move. Weeeeell, I must have moved it too much or something because then poor ol' Joker became cross eyed.

Eventually got the problem fixed, I was so sad when it happened. But looking back on it, pretty freaking hilarious! :D

My PERS doesn't work at all. Unscrewed the back panel to see what was going on to find the other end of joystick snapped clean off. To make matters worse, replacement heads are going for £50 on eBay - ridiculous! The most frustrating part is I only need the little plastic joystick part anyone know where you can get them?

when i do the same thing the guys doing in the vid, the eyes don't move at all. I know for certain I didn't do anything to make it malfunction. I contacted Hot toys about it earlier this week, and I haven't got a reply. Bull$H!t

I would think geek is more derogatory.

I would say I'm a movie nerd or a Batman nerd and I have "nerdgasms" when I see a trailer for a movie that looks awesome, but a geek carries connotations of social awkwardness.

geeks are like people that are obsessesed with something thats what makes them geeky.. so most people that collect these are action figure geeks..

But are you actually gonna sit and take off the hair and play with the eyes? Why not just have fixed eyes?

because u can put the pody in differnt poses, and depending on the pose where the eyes look can be quite important.

i suppose its a bit geeky rather than nerdy,, but it makes a huge difference..

its the detail what makes these great so every little detail is a plus plus and a boner at the end of the day..

i was really upset after college today, and i come home and my robocop was delivered and ive opened it and its made me all happy again.. i want this joker really bad... if u look at bruce lee enterbay figures youll see that moving eyes is essential or just wouldnt look right.

I think that's a fair point. Most people who own these aren't going to play with them the way we did with action figures and GI Joes, so it's mostly just an impressive innovation and allows collectors to pose the figures pretty much however they want.

I had an action figure collection when I was a kid and all the figures stood straight up and stared straight ahead. So Hot Toys is thinking outside the box I guess.

The headsculpt is mind-blowing. Hot Toys just keeps getting better ;)

This is a vast improvement over previous eye systems. No more crossed eyes! Also, I like the fact that it adds a dimension to the characters' expression.

PERS look very good and playable, but overall the head don't fell the evil feeling of Joker.
