I have not read any of Osteen's fluff.

But Mr Hunt is correct in his comments given what he is revealing of Osteen here.

It is absolute empty vacuous fluff, cotton candy for the soul that rots the mind.

He is full of positive confession. this is very legalistic for it requires a person suffering to put a brave face on and pretend. And God is not fooled by such hypocrisy

i pray for joel osteen , hes just preaching to people according to his own experience in life, he has a good life: hes popular, has a great family, and lots of money cuz he sells books...but will he believe if he loses it all? if he's still so optimistic about God* in bad times ill have much more respect for him..

I praise the LORD because his grace is enough, he saved me from eternal damnation and he broke my chains so I'm no longer a slave of sin.

I don't care about my life in this world, the only thing I want is to be with Jesus Christ and know his love and peace.

We love him because HE first loved us.

lol, that is supposed to be an indication that someone is lying or nervous. Good observation! Yes, I have yet to read anywhere in the bible that tells us we are entitled to "nice things". What all that has to do with Christ, I have no idea. OH, that's right, NOTHING

Joel is great motivational pastor but there needs to be a little more biblical content, Im sure he has a alot of love for God, he's just lacking a bit in some aspects as a church leader thats all

Joel Osteen never seems to mention Christ, the cross or sin. Blessings do not always come.The Bible speaks against materialism. Paul and other early christians experienced peace, joy and hapiness but suffering in prison, under torture and even death.These were men of faith. Real Christianity is deeper than just delusion-it's a deep convinction of own sin, a rational recognition of Christ's cross.Genuine christian's are just, merciful and humble in their walk with God(Micah 6:8)in ALL situations

I agree. Dave Hunt (along with a few others you see in my videos)...were the ones that finally drove me in the direction of Christianity. I came to Yeshua at the start of 2006.

After that, I came across Proverbs 9:10....that spoke to me too :-)
