As a phantom of the opera lover, and a LPN major I have also researched what possibilities for genetic defects Erik might have had. This vampire disease was my main guess, like the elephant man, or just some insane birth defect. I can't wait to get my degree and work in a genetics clinic :) The human body is so fascinating! Great job with your research!
Dude, I admire that you wanted to do this project but you in fact, didn't do any work outside of splicing and grabbing a few sentences from sources. You proceeded to ramble and babble incoherently. It sounds like you don't understand what you wrote. I can't understand your sentences and the music is blasting. This is a very badly done and lazy project. Next time, go to your teacher and give them an outline and get some help in this kind of mini-documentary. This could have gone somewhere.
hi i hav tipe 8 Porphyria it mackd me like a vampire in the way i luck and i cant go in the sun light or ill kill my eyes and skin
and i my blood is 80% platlits. o and you are rite a bout the tacking blood as tretment for it butt you are rong about haw match i hav to go do it evrey day for my hole life. from 4:00pm to 6:00pm im at the hospetol hukit up to a mashene thet tacks my blood so it sucks and ppl dont think it is reel so thank you for poting thes on youtube.
Thanks for educating the public about Porphyria in a neat and entertaining way. I have another type of Porphyria, an Acute Intermittent Porphyria called Pyroluria. Keep up the good work! :o)
Very impressive. :) I love the intro on the first half of the video and all the details about the condition PCT. But, and I don't mean to sound deragtory, but a few of your facts are out of date or incorrect. Joseph Merrick, it is NOW guessed, suffered from not only neurofibromatosis but also from a more rarer condition called Proteus Syndrome. Also, I've found out there are a couple more conditions that could have caused deformities similar to the one in the book. But overall, a good job. :)

Also Carl Laemmle was not the director, he was the producer. :)

That was really interesting. I actually watched both parts. I had wondered why Erik(Phantom) looked like that, and now I know. Thanks! :D
