This has to be one if not the most awesome songs to end a great film.In the film world I can see why a person would hold all that pain and rage inside until years later.I hope i am not alone on this but I found the 2000 film to be a really bad film and an insiult to the original.
This so explains to the movie, with how devestated Alex must have been about his sister's death, how he took his revenge and then how his sister, not knowing it was him, butchered him. I always cry at the end of this. Not even the green mile makes me cry, but Alex seems so nice....
i know , i remeber seeing prom night for the 1st time , made me thing , yayy, jamie killed the killer than i found her brother was the killer , found out his twin sister was the reason for killing. i cried at the end
@bestinworld36 Kim didn't "accidently" kill Alex anymore than Harry Truman "accidently" nuked Japan. The guy was running around with an axe and cutting off heads there toward the end (he even killed Lou !). That was the only way to stop him.
@bestinworld36 I wonder why Alex actually killed Lou. It was obvious that he wasn't after him, even if he deserved it. Mind you, we're talking about the same person who electrocuted themselves because they wer holding an axe funny.
so sad at the end, and the beginning when justice was'nt served those kids murdered that little girl cause she was diffence..so they deserved whatever the got
@sniversnafer Yeah, but one of them survived - Nick. He was the only one who showed remorse for what happened, so I kind of liked him. The others got their just punishment. But wow, the sad ending sure sticks with you awhile.

Saw this on a Memorial Day weekend triple bill with MOTHER'S DAY and DAWN OF THE DEAD in 1981. What a fun night at the drive-in. I've always loved this song. "Fear No Evil" by The Trybe is another fave. Anyway, thanks for posting this!
He uploaded dexter's laboratory episodes and his account got banned by the cartoon network copyright bastards. I'm very sorry it happened, I hate cartoon network because they don't even have barely any cartoons anymore and they had the nerve to delete his account.
Are you sure this isn't from The Raccoons On Ice or something? Seriously, this brand of late-70s/early-80s soft-pop, I always associate it w/ Canada for some reason.
This can also be Kim's song, either that or the Disco theme. Sound design at its best.

my last comment didn't post. Where can I find this album. I have always loved this soundtrack. I didn't know it was a rare find.
SHARPRAVENCLAWS666 2 years ago
The soundtrack was released only in japan on vinyl and cassette, don't know why!
They should've come out with another format by now, if so many people have these rare audio files to offer...

This song makes me cry. It's sung so beautifully but still sounds so sad. Especially at the end when Alex dies & the truth comes out.
