  • nice job!!!! i have 2 play it for a recital! i am not doing so well... lol

i have been playing for 2.5 years, i am guessing this piece is too hard for moi!

  • Great job!

  • Good Job! I am gonna start learning this piece and I am really nervous because it seems really hard.

  • ViolinistYevgeniya I don't think discouaging this young man is very formitable. I'm disgusted that you of all people have to boast about shit in youtube. So STFU

  • Hey I'm playing this now after 5 years. You look nervous. I'm not gonna say much because of that. =D

  • Personally,I think that a lot of the notes in the Sicilienne could have been more connected, and work on a more connected tone as well as better intonation. Other than that it was pretty good.

  • WOrk on your dynamics and instead of trying to be able to play it fast make sure that you first are able to play the note themselfs. Good job though.

  • his right hand is not half bad for how nervous he looks...but his left hand...

  • Consider for each note...if it's not in tune, it is the wrong note!!

  • Good job, but your intonation could use some work. Slow down the tempo so you can catch all the notes. Just because you can play it up to speed doesn't mean it is better, especially if you can nail all the notes when it is a smidge slower. Work up to the tempo and you will play this song greatly. Keep up the good work.

  • this is really good! im 12 and im learning this.

  • pretty good =D but after five years you're able to play wayyy harder stuff... like lalo or mendelssohn. challenge yourself! :]

  • i agree. it was really good, but you should be able to play much more advanced stuff by now. not bad!

  • The Rigaudon is quite difficult (if you play it fast, in tune and with dynamic lines).

  • Have either of you ever played this piece before?

  • Grats man! I wish you luck. ^^

  • totally agree with corruptedkorean (btw, korean people are the BEST!) To be completely honest, if ur playing it after 2.5 years, ur gonna suck at it, and also, boasting about urself on youtube and trying to discourage someone actually talented, is proof of NO EFFIN LIFE! :] thankyou

  • Oh my God, I'm so sorry if anyone misunderstood that comment. I did not for a second mean to discourage--I think it was very, very well played, a lot better than how I performed it. On rereading my comment, I think you're right, it does sound a lot like boasting, so I'm very sorry. It's just that I want to go into music, and I'm very passionate about it, that's all.

  • Very good work considering you've only been playing for five years. Nice vibrato and relaxed bowing style too. I agree that more work needs to be done on intonation - slow down and get it in tune!!!

  • Should work on intonation and the staccato part. You can probably get better if you watch the 5 year old play the same piece, he plays some of the parts better.

  • Wow, this is great. Keep it up and you'll give Perlman a run for his money.

  • you're really good :)

  • Bravo!!!!! Keep it up, young man. Good posture. One part you played just a little too fast. Let's hear some more.
