Larg birds eat smaller birds, its a natural thing, and those birds are eating different scepies of birds, so no, there not eating themselfs. I must respectfully disagree. They're eating eggs from a different species, and some raptors have no qualms aobut eating different species of birds. If a hawk came in and snatched up one of those sparrows, is he eating himself? Having said that, as "featherwinglove" I can't eat birds' wings. Weird? I bring life to wings in my work; eating wings would be like eating the arms of my kids. Rest of the bird is okay though, but seeing cooked wings makes me nauseous.
