Ok this family is very privledged, been on the today show twice now, and have had their own dateline special and wrote a book about it. enough with the guilt and sadness trip. when did this happen? get over it you already had three kids attention whores
I understand that this is tradgic, but at least they know that she can carry a child. and i am sure that when they do meet the baby's parents, the pain will be earsed because of the happiness that they brought them.
I think she did right thing on carrying the baby, it must of been difficult for them to carry another couple's baby, even though the baby she's carrying has another couple genetics, she's been carrying this baby for 9 month, how can you give up a baby, that's going to be traumatic when this couple have to give up the baby; and to go back home with nothing. I wouldn't be able to cope giving up a baby after carrying it for 9month. Even if you sue the damage is already done.
The best thing (and proper thing) to do would be to abort the embryo immediately and resume implantation with the proper embryo at another clinic. Once the proper baby was born, persue legal action against the clinic with a dollar amount so severe the clinic will have to discontinue operation. There is no excuse whatsoever for mixing up embryos.
