no. most weight must be back so that any wave hits mid pt or back on hull. if bow digs into wave, people get ejected/die.

hahaha guess you've never been over 80 miles an hour on the water then... good luck standing up and having a conversation. Plus the engine hatch wasn't even on... no sound deadening, plus more drag having a big open hole on the top of your boat. Close that up and I bet you'd see 90. A friend of mine has this same boat without the radar tower and runs in the 90's. Not the fastest but it'll go through the chop faster than most

Nice work Mr. Granås! I'm glad my headers worked for you. Usually the boat runs somewhere between 90 and 93 mph with that set up. Make some more video of it!

Who cares about fuel cost? That is one awesome boat and three awesome engines! 80MPH is very fast regardless of setup, on a 47', it is insane! Is that Martin I'm seeing on that boat?

I own one of these, a little different though, no radar arch, and a fiberglass low-pro race faring for the winsheild.

I also run triple 525's with #6 drives and cleaver props. mid 80's all day long

sure there are faster boats, but none of them can run as fast in heavy chop as comfortably as this boat.

my uncles 26 velocity goes 90 with one engine. He changed like everything and made it insane. I've gone 85 with it. 80 mph is not that insane

That's mile per hour, not knots...knots are quite a bit faster than mph...84-86 is about all you get out of triple 525's in a boat that big...even if 2' of it is the beak!

That is cool. I was just in the Bay of Finland while in Helsinki. Was on a big sail boat. Your Bay of Norway - or whatever it is looks the same. 88mph - simply awesome. Hope you have lots of fuel money and some ear plugs.
