I noticed for this show, both for Games People Play and I Wouldn't Want To Be Like You, that the background music seems to be the recorded music, not from the real band...but Lenny is singing live...He's just such a downhome, simple guy with an amazingly forceful voice...I am disgusted I can't find my Gonzales album.

Thanks so much for posting. I was going down memory lane and remembered APP's "I Robot". I played it to death in 1979. I've been listening to it lately, and it brought back so many memories. One thing: I never knew that AP only sang one song in that album! Zakatek is awesome, especially on "I wouldn't want to be like you". One more thing, who is the jerk who keeps giving a thumb down to those who compliment this guy? If you don't like him, go listen to different singers. Thanks, myoctave!!!!

Damn---I've always loved this song too---didn't know Lenny Zakatek was the voclaist on this one---first time I've ever seen him perform---he's throwing down on this tune--my guess is he didn't mind not being a household name for the simple fact that he got to sing famous songs without all the BS that usually comes with fame. You can tell he was definitely into some R&B----I love me some R&B singers of all colors, especially if they're good! How many solo albums has he made?

Hey for those who don't speak spanish this video proves on itself the fame of dumb people that the people from spain had made themselves. At 2:25 the guy on the left asks Lenny "Hey how does it feel to have sung a lot of Alan's LP's and not being famous at all?" To me that deserves a kick in the ass. But I loved Lenny's answer he said "well, at least my ma think's I am" Take that dude! And they even misspelled the song name, for God's sake!! 5/5 it was really pwnsome. Sans for the idiot :P
