so i made an earlier comment, i had an account (smexiness4eva) i still remember this event, ive moved to a new school, san marcos high, we did shattered dreams last year but they didnt go as far as hays, and i think they shuld, what hays does is really send the message, san marcos just had ppl talk about it.
man i remember when they did this when i was there at hays like i dont know in 2004 or something it was scary and til this day i refuse to drink and drive or be with anyone who does. It was surreal seeing my friends layed out like that like they were really dead
my brother's car was used for one of these at hays. i remember when i was little coming to the high school after my school got out(my mom used to work at hays)i was walking down the hall and the grim reaper was in the halli also remember seeing all the kids white faces who were "dead". it's good schools do this
alot of my friends were involved in this.one of my friends got taken out of our class by the grim reaper it was weird and kinda sad to see her go. im glad they did this tho.
there doing it again my senior year. i hope to be apart of it.
this was hard to watch. im a student at hays and i started crying when my friends were "dead" and was freaked out when i heard the heartbeat over the intercom and then all of a sudden the grim reaper just barges in the room
I was the second firefighter on that hoseline laid out from Engine 21. Clinton Vinup was the first. Matthew Shira is also somewhere in there, we all go to Hays.
This was a different experiance. I knew some of the people that died, and it was a shock to see them walk the halls dead. I almost started crying when my daycare buddy died in my 6th period class ='[
My future stepson was involved in the "Shattered Dreams" program this year at Sam Rayburn High School in Pasadena, Tx. He was the one who "died" instantly and was placed in a body bag and taken away in a hearse. This is a wonderful program! It is a great thing for teenagers to show them the potential dangers of making bad decisions. It can also be a great refresher for adults. It is SOOOO important to spread the word about this program to as many people as possible. Remember your blessings.
that is wierd... I was here for this and like it didn't look this cloudy... idk. I t almost made me cry my friend was out there. dead on the road. ha but i'm glad they were doing this!
i was there too that day 2 of my friends died as a living dead it still felt like they werent there thanx for making this video thats a day i wont ever forget......but i will see it again..
I was here to witness this whole thing and I have to say that the song represents the whole event perfectly. Thank you for putting together this great video of an event I will never forget.

i thought it was entertaining that the truck was crushed as if it had been rolled over, yet the car just had a compressed hood.

Did anyone ever figure out who the grim reaper was?
princessyrandom1214 3 years ago
The grim reaper was an Austin firefighter, Andrew Montague, he's tall, to say the least.

why is this video entitled every 15 minutes?
xheidio 3 years ago
Because every 15min. someone dies of an alcohol related accident.. this program is done for mainly high school students...

I was there for the first one back in 2002. It's very emotional. We were all pretty much wrecks the whole day.
