The heads bobbing up out of the water and looking at me creeped me out when I first played the level by myself. I am typically more afraid by subtle things, but other subtle scares in the game didn't scare me. Probably because 95% of the game isn't scary.

If you want a good children-killing horror movie, The Orphanage is an excellent choice. Some excellent scares, and 100% rate of dead children almost guaranteed. I usually laugh at horror movies, but that one actually kept me quiet.

@Lightice1 Though you don't actually see the kids getting hideously bummed (well, not graphically anyways). I think it's just common courtesy not to show children and pregnant woman getting slaughtered into tiny bits of bloody messes on the walls. The Orphanage and Pans Labyrinth are both brilliant movies, however. All hail Guillermo Del Toro!
