Every time "President Clark" (Ennio Girolamo aka Thomas Moore) appears on screen I wonder if the producers just weren't able to meet Lee Van Cleef's price.
I wonder if, in hindsight, the producers kicked themselves for blowing the budget on Henry Silva and settling for a Van Cleef lookalike.
Am I only one who notices how dark the ending is? The president is replaced by an even worse guy and the Bronx is pretty much depopulated like G.C. wanted.
Anyway, I to kind of like this movie. If the protagonist wasn't such a complete non-entity and the villains weren't so inept and silly looking (seriously, who decided the death squads should wear glittery silver jumpsuits and motercycle helmets?) this could have been a gritty and bad-assed action flick.
@Mechazaurus I have a fondness for movies and shows with dark endings to them, so that added to my enjoyment of this MST. You're definitely right about Trash, he doesn't do jack in this film, and the Orkin men in their boil-in-the-bag jumpsuits aren't the least bit intimidating after they perform their one significant scene with Trash's parents. Apparently this film was a sequel to something, or a prequel. I'd be interested to see the rest of the story.
@Mechazaurus I was just here to enjoy a little taste of the weather in new mexico... But yeah, quite a dark ending, mostly made darker by the fact that the world really works like this. Furthermore, I think this movie would be great as a remake... Good actors/decent budget... Would be one of the top 5 movies of 2013 guaranteed!
@NodDisciple1 He was talking about the 80's song Tom sung. It's "Seperate Ways" from Journey, the part where he goes "Someday love will find you/break those chains that bind you"
56:23 Is that "castle" still up in NYC? :? I do hate it when ppl blow up old historic buildings. :( We should be renevating them and re-using them, not blowing them to bits! T_T
You'd think that at 1:03:20 with those suits they'd be able to "swim through the center of the sun"
Some kids get covered in gold when they sit and spin! lol ...Sorry, Diabolik is stuck in my head lol.
But I must add, that these are way in the top of my favorite credits. I've even recorded it on my phone! lmao I'm setting Servo's theme from Violent Years as my ringtone as soon as I get the volume right. hahaha
@messenger360 Every so often I come across a movie that MSTK does and I think to myself, "If not for the fatastically bad_____ this would actuall be pretty decent!" Glad to see other people share this with me...
"We always jump and forget to shoot!" A line that can fit in ANY action movie.

If I agree with you it is simply a fluke
People from Maryland make me want to puke
It's the Beep-beep show, do-dodo-do-do!
I can't stand any more of your own thoughts
Everyone should conform to me, just forget what you brought
I love myself so much, a wife I need naught
Yeah, it's the Beep-beep show!
