مازلت اتذكر ايام طفولتي عندما كان الشيخ امام للحرم كنا في المدرسة نحاول ان نقلد صوته كننا ننتظر صلاة الترويح حتى نشاهده في التلفزيون السعودي الذي كان ينقلها في النصف الثاني من الشهر لكن فجاءة اختفى الشيخ نتيجة ظروف لااحد يفهمها كان زاهد في دنياه رحمه الله واسكنه فسيح جناته

هو علي بن عبد الله بن صالح بن علي جابر السعيدي اليافعي الحميري القحطاني، يعود في نسبه إلى قبيلة ( آل علي جابر ) اليافعيين الذين استوطنوا منطقة ( خشامر ) في حضرموت ونشروا فيها دعوة التوحيد وحاربوا الجهل والخرافة وعرفوا بتمسكهم بالكتاب والسنة الصحيحة وعقيدة السلف الصالح ودعوتهم إلى منهج أهل السنة والجماعة ، ومنها انتقل والده عبد الله بن صالح بن علي جابر إلى جدة بالحجاز واستقر فيها .

ولادته

ولد الشيخ علي جابر في مدينة جدة في شهر ذي الحجة عام 1373هـ .
