Sounds strange, but it's true. For instance, think about party schools. That's a perfect example of how people waste resources when they aren't paying for them. But I think that if CA students weren't given the huge tuition decreases in the early nineties, then they wouldn't grow up spoiled, and with the expectation that rates are supposed to be at those low levels. California provided an undergrad college education until Reagan became governor and got rid of it. Republiscams need cheap uneducated labor and they need people to enlist in the all-volunteer military. This is a Reagan issue not an Obama issue. Plus the Bushites started to reduce grant and loan money for college starting in 2002 and Obama is just starting to get it all restored.
