Here's the thing. Predator society is minimalist/nomad based. There hunting ways are minimalist, they prefer one on one battles and honor based rewards for overcoming huge odds with very little tools or weapons. This seems completely against the culture of predators with flying UAVS, and dogs for "Flushing". I'm excited about any predator movie but this seems a little out of context. Either way I'm excited and I hope it pulls out a win and it gives honor to the series.

at 1:30 you can see the predator and the predator hound, and damn they both look freakin' awesome. can't wait to see this movie. avp was a flop and avp-r was just bad, this movie has potential. produced by robert rodriguez, and starring some big name actors (namely laurence fishburne who was awesome in assault on district 13 and the matrix trilogy).

Predator started as a huge "don't mess me with me I will kill you, actually I am going to kill you anyway" and nothing could save your butt. He was huge, fearless. Hauled around a devastating arsenal and could run and jump faster than an athlete on steroids. In A vs. P he appeared huge and as menacing as ever and had a small appearance. The magic wasnt there. It didn't keep eyes frozen to the screen. I havent seen the preview but I have serious doubt the drama will ever be the same.

oh dang this is looking like another bad predator movie. The directors are so dumb. They just do not see what made predator 1 & 2 excellent films. Predators are not just killing machines. They are extremely intelligent warrior hunters. They come to earth every 100 years to prove that they are still supreme beings. They do not kill for shits and giggles, they look around for worthy opponents and then challenges them. I don't know about this new movies, the script seems flaky to me.

@iillektrikk Haven't you paid attention in AVP and AVP-R? In the first, it's like you said, they come down every 100 years to prove themselves worthy, and in addition to that they couldn't leave any witnesses, wich is why the walked around killing the humans. In AVP-R, the main-predator, named Wolf, wasn't a hunter, but a cleaner. And he doesn't give a shit who he has to kill, as long as he doesn't leave any witnesses, like a real cleaner would do.

The concept is based from the previous predators, meaning predator 1 and 2 ,forget AVP even existed.The concept would be that the human had figured out a few things about the predator hunters from pass encounters. (predator 1&2)then the human designed a hybrid human that had much more strength (CYBORG LIKE). Then the predators had a run for their money, cause now we were fighting back.

Really? I suppose I can't argue with someone's opinion, but I assure you the second predator was pretty bad. I'll agree that Alien Resurrection wasn't good and the AVP movies were terrible, but Robert agrees as well, which is why this movie was made in the first place.
