But let's face it, the fact is that the Filipino government did a very very poor job on this hostage incident. @bilchandler I saw that video on the news on the day it happened. I would have to agree with you, it's funny how weak the officer was. However, with the number of officers in the entire HK police force, there has to be different divisions with people of different physical level. I can see that the airport special unit has officers that are much more muscular and taller than a typical foot patrolling constable on the streets. As long as the HKPF can do better than Manila police dept, I'm happy.
